how high to mount leds?

    Have a Guy selling a 150w metal halide system.. 48 in fixture .. just have to buy actinics.. maybe ill stick with those.

    Man 1fishyguy, you're all over the place with different light threads! I was too, it can get real confusing! From what i remember you have a set up in place that should work for a bit, right? Can't remember! What's the big rush? I'd spend a few days at least reading! You're gonna drop alot of cash to rush into it!;) Patience

    Negative already ordered leds should be here soon but only paid half up front. I have my set up sold already to a member and it will be shipped to him as soon as my leds are here... but I have a local Guy with the metal halides fir sale I could buy and return leds all in same day. Lol so I'm not having the other Guy wait on me

    its totally worth it, dont buy halides, youll pay for it in your power bill and bulbs. go led just do research and ask questions, if your going to buy strips like those, go for panorama pro (not stunners) those are about $79 a pop and backed by tons of people, if you are for a fixture do AI SOL or DIY kit from Rapidled, (its not bad to ask questions ;))

    It saves you money!

    I think led's are above the best choice right now, just for the lack of maintenance and long term cost savings! What's your budget?
