How High??

    Just wondering where most of you T5HO users are keeping you lights above your tanks.. I have had my 4 bulb over my 72g at 5 1/2in. for a while but think I may be bleaching the corals a little.. Thinking of moving it up at 6 1/2 or 7in.. Anyway, just curious where you guys are keeping yours at.

    I have mine about 7 inches above the water.

    That's important. I have a 6 bulb TEK T5 37" above the substrate. All LPS and a few softies. Only running four bulbs. Favias and some acans are not directly under the fixture.

    good question.. Lets say a mixed reef.. At least thats what I have.. SPS upper part of the tank and LPS and softies middle to lower(sand).

    The fixture and reflectors makes a big difference, too. When I started using the TEK fixture, I had to hang it much higher than I thought.
