Made a trip to the LFS today to scope out their selection, and this is what i came home with.

    $36 Coral Beauty - about 3.5"
    $32 Ocellaris Clown - about 1.5"-2"
    $18 Engineer Goby - about 4.5"-5"
And the kid threw in a good sized chunk of LR covered in coralline to seed my base rock

Did i get a good purchase or about the norm?

About the norm for the angel and goby. Complete rip-off for the clown IMHO.

Yeah everything's cool except for the Clown. But close enough probably for a LFS.

Prices seem a little high compared to what I am used to.

Coral beauties usually run around 25 for small to 30-35 for the size of yours.

I paid $40 total for two tank raised false-perc clowns

I haven't seen an engineer blenny so I dont know what those run around here.

Live rock is deffinitely a score though!

False percs sell for about 30 in my area, too, some other fish are a bit high by me, like sixline wrasse, 20, 20-30 for a shrimp goby. I'd like to see some pics!
