How long before you should see algae growth?

    Just started cycling my nano tank, wondering how long it should be before I start seeing algae growth in my tank from the cycle?

    Usually within a week or two you'll see the diatom bloom. Then a little while after that, a couple weeks, some other types like hair will start to grow.
