i have had an emrald green long tentacle anemone for over 4 years now and have had my times good and bad but she is still going strong. after 4 years she has actually moved to a new spot (4 years in the same spot, is that normal?)
shes withered and come back and looked like she was splitting but didnt and her foot under the rocks is over 9 inches long now. ive never seen anything like it. when i got her the lfs said she was not that healthy so i got her next to nothing and qt her for a bit and when healthy looking i placed in main tank. now she is home to my 2 clowns and the ocassional bangal cardinal lol.
sorry just thought i would ask and also to share some LOL

from what i have read about an anemone and from my personal experience, they dont actually age, and theoretically if the water conditions needed can be maintained can live indefinately and as for moving it usually indicates a problem possibly coming on time to do a water change

That's what all my research has come up with also. As far as we know they can be consider immortal if something doesn't intervene.

I've had one LTA and two Flower anemones for the past 11 yrs. I dont know the answer to your ?, but it looks like as long as your paras are good, you have a friend for life.
