My tank is seven months old and I'm getting some really nice coralline algae growth now. It started to take off around 5 1/2 months in. But I started noticing it around the tank at around 4 months in. Like others already said just be patient and keep the big three in check.

Be careful what you wish for. While it may be pretty it is basically a form of sps.The more you have the faster it will use the "big3".It is also difficult to remove. Ways to spread it have been addressed but it can be as simple as scraping some off a piece of lr and sprinkling it around like Johnny Apple seed.;D

Be careful what you wish for. It's a pain to maintain.

Just give it time. It can take awhile.
