How long does it take for fish to adjust to flow?

    All of my fish are trying to get away from the flow, my firefish is hiding, the female clown is hiding in like a half cave type thing and the male clown is hiding above my maxijett.

    They just got the mp20 added to their tank so they have that flow along with one maxijett 1200.

    Whats an average time frame for fish to adjust to change or does it just depend on the fish?

    Most of mine took about 24hrs. I had an anthias that immediately went in to it.

    ok good to know, probably by the time the get adjusted to the new flow the vortech will be taken back out and it will be back to the mj1200, i currently have one of the mj1200s in my pufffers tank and one in the 46, until i get this vortech returned and get a new one sent to me ill have to use the mj's again
