I just added a dsb in a 10g fuge to my system. I connected the pumps and overflow and even though I rinsed all the sand (dry caribsea aragonite ) the tank is really cloudy, how long will it take to clear with my fluval and skimmer running? will my fish/coral/inverts be affected? Should I turn off the koralias?

All depends on your filtration system and how big the total system is. Considering that you have a canister filter, it may take a while. If you clean out the pre-filter pads and sponges every couple of hours, that should eliminate some hours. Usually it takes 1-3 days to clear up, depends on the system.

The thing that helps the best ,even more than filter pads, is a few cups of live sand from an established tank to jump start the bacteria growth. Once the sand has been coated with bacteria it will settle like a rock.
