How long have you caught yourself staring at your tank??

I especially am when I go buy some new live rock, im glued to my tank for a while looking for hitchikers, even when the lights are out Im sitting there with my flashlight. I watch my tank a few hours after i bought a pistol shrimp and goby, even my girlfriend couldnt stop watching so I didnt have to listen to her nagging about me spending to much time with my tank

 

haha, been there lol. She didn't mind the tank so much, because it was there before her. But never buy a boat before a ring

 

the boat is next on the list as soon as i graduate..the ring is a longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg way away...new tanks after the boat are in front of the ring..

 

My best friend gave his now fiance a ring on a Sat. and bought the boat on Sunday. Smart man

 

i'm so glad this thread was made.
my girlfriend just recently asked if other people sit there and stare at their tanks as much as i do. made me wonder for a little bit, but now i'll try and write it off as common behaviour.
wasnt so interesting with just a fish in the tank, but as soon as i added coral, some new live rock with real hitchhikers and some new snails, man theres all sorts of crazy stuff in there to find. and its only a 7 gal!

 

So I was reading the posts and most say "girlfriend or boyfriend" I wonder if this has anything to do with staring at the tanks LOL

 

At least an hour a day I spend looking at my tank. My girlfriend probably spends just as much if not more. I barely watch tv anymore, why would you when you have such an awesome live show =D. You can really zone out and got lost with everything going on. I love how it's like a little ecosystem where you can find life in almost any spot in the tank. Glad I'm not alone on this haha.
