Oh hell yeah, Ive spent a number of hours staring at the tank(mostly after some tough days at work,or admiring a new addition)..I catch my wife doing so also ,although she will never admit it..lol..she does love the tank though(especially the clowns)..

I just spent at least 2 hours tonight staring at mine. Put a new (smaller) cleaner shrimp in there today, and for some reason the emeralds were all out and about. A whole lot going on in there tonight. Found a really tiny collonista on the front glass, and a tiny strombus on the side glass (I guess the eggs on the turbo hatched!). I hate it when I'm staring at the tank and the lights go off LOL. Of course, then I just switch to checking the fuge & watching the amphipod antics. Discovered 3 baby stomatellas in there tonight, and a white brittle star, and of course more than 20 (that I could see) baby strombus snails. Only a few casings have hatched too, so we're in for a BIG crop of snails in the next week or so!!!

Fortunately, my boyfriend is almost as bad as me about it. I wonder if he's having withdrawals being out of town? haha! He called me earlier and I gave him all the antics, so I guess so!

Your not. One time I found myself watching a snail eat algae off the wall for like three hours. Its so interesting to watch them do what they do. I also love watching my bubble corals capture food!

lol I am just as bad if not worse but, I find that company tends to stare at the tank for hours during a party and asking me 1000's of questions ending in the question of "can I make one that looks like yours?" ;D but on a regular day at least 2-3hours on an off day about 30-40 minutes. work is very stressful :(
