Ich wiped out a coral beauty, scopas tang, and a clownfish, tried the chem-marin and fresh water dips... Anyways the params are stable, how long before the ich goes away?? Does it lay dormant?? Ill def. be waiting a while before adding any additions.

We'll need to know more about your system and parameters.
And without beating a dead horse, here are some threads from a search.

I prefer not to do anything. A healthy stable environment coupled with happy/healthy fish need no help fighting off parasites and other stressful situations.

Depending on the size of your tank, get yourself a cleaner shrimp or two, and soak all your fish food in garlic, plus pristine water conditions, these are all i have ever needed in the fight against ich, i have no quarantine, and its always worked for me when a outbreak as started to happen, i understand there is a wrasse that will eat the parasites off the fish also, can't remember what it's called...

are you sure the specks where Cryptocaryon ? Ich really seldom kills fish that where healthy to start with and then it takes awhile to pull them down enough to cause death..

It could have been Oodinium aka Marine Ich, Velvet or Coral Fish Disease and Brooklynella aka Clownfish Disease that also become parasitic to fish at one stage in their life cycle all white specks are not ich or Crypto..
