yea i may contact DD next week if he doesnt show up, to try to make sure he gets food if he's alive, i turn off all the pumps for 10 minutes, turn the vortech on feed mode which is another 10 minute of very slow movement, then turn the rest of the pumps on. I just wish i knew where he was so i could spot feed and know weather he is alive or not, i do have some pods in my tank so i hope if he is alive that he's been eating those

It's been a while without seeing him which isn't completely abnormal, but would be a sign of concern. I would either do one of two things. One, take some rock out and try to look for him. The negatives of this are that if he is still alive, you may stress him out more as well as the other fish. Or two, leave it go. If he's dead or died, then the clean up crew probably made quick work of him as he was very small to begin with. Hopefully, you'll see him one day.

I agree with guitar man, I have had fish dissapear in the tank and never saw anything of them again. It just depends on how good your cuc is. The fish that dissapeared were very very small though. So worse case scenario your cuc got an expensive meal, I really hope you find it though I hate adding fish to have them just disappear or become a meal for my shrimp.

yea ive thought about taking out some rock and look for him, but as you stated i think it would stress out the fish more. I have a very large clean up crew with not much food in the tank for them, so they would be hungry and instantly snatch him up if he were dead. Over the past week ive been keeping an eye on them, and i havent seen them act like they could be eating him, but they could of done it at night or when i wasnt home.

i hope thats not the case , but could very well be. If i dont see him by next week ill assume dead contact DD for a refund.

Just sucks though because i only saw him for a few quick seconds before darting off into the rocks, didnt even see him during acclimation because i was at work so i had my mom do it
