How long should you wait after you use PVC cement???

There're a certain amount of time?? LOL!!! I've done a 1min to several weeks.

Using PVC glue in my tank I use a smell factor. When I can hardly smell the glue, it's sealed and that's why I have no more brain sselllllzzzz.. lol... But seriously, don't sit there and smell it over & over, especially in the pipe itself. Do it on the outside of the fitting. Also, I blow air in the pipe before running water in it. Remember there is trapped oder in that pipe from the cleaner & glue. I myself want it out, before it mixes with the water.
