    i do not have one, but after reasearching for a while (i wanted one also) i also found the best way was to have a safe haven for them to multiply and such so seeding a refugium would be the best idea, or setting up another small tank and growing the population

    Thanks guys for all your info! It sounds like I might be waiting awhile before i get a mandarin. I think I will probably wait more than a year just to make sure there is enough grub for him.

    You are better off waiting then having to lose one because your reef was not mature enough to supply him with food. Good luck 8)
