I brought home a yellow watchman goby last weekend, he has been in my 29 with some hermits, rock and a serpent star (my qt) for 9 days. He looks fine, I just did a large wc because of high nitrated in the qt and even then he looked good. How long should I leave him in there?

2 weeks will not give you much time to be sure nothing is wrong with the specimen. Often times, issues do not appear until later on.

I would do 6 weeks, as well.
