    varying opinions on this
I like to run my tank for 1 month before adding my 1st coral, some add sooner, some wait longer

easy corals to start with are
    Zoanthids +
    Green Star polyps+
    Yellow polyps+
    Mushroom colonies+
    soft leather corals
    Toadstool corals
    Anthellia +

the ones with the + after the names , are corals that can grow and spread rapidly and may present a problem later but for beginners, these corals all represent a great way to build up experience whilst having a beautiful looking set up IMHO
