how long will lps stay alive in tupperware containers (small)

    so i upgraded my tank today. i have my trachy and frogspwan in small tupperware containers. i am waiting till the A.M when the water clears up to add them. the should be ok till then right??? its about 70 in my apartment.

    just had an idea. i just put the containers in the sump. figured floating them in the sump should keep the temp stable

    They should be fine. Think about how many hours they were in a shipping bag with no circulation to get to you. If it turns out you need more time in the morning, give them MODERATE lighting and not reef tank lighting over such shallow dishes.....the zooxanthellae will start creating Oxygen. If you need more than a couple extra hours tomorrow, add an air bubbler, a small powerhead, or even take a glass of water out of the tubs and pour the water back in every half hour for circulation/gas exchange.

    thanks, makes me feel better. its funny both actually came out quite a bit in the containers
