My FOWLR tank light has gone out. Heard this popping and sizzling and it was from the light fixture on my puffers tank. Unplugged it right away of course. But now I am looking for a new one (Bought the light used....and I am thinking my puffer squirted water onto the fixture!)

Anyway I dont trust anything popping and sizzling over a thing of water ::) but was wondering if there is any affects on the fish if I wait a month or so to get the light?

Fish will not be harmed. Maybe put a lamp next to your tank for the time being.

Ill go along with the above also

if there is natural light available so that there is a light/ dark period as such for the fish, then they will be active as normal, feed etc under this natural light

good idea to remove the fixture for safety reasons and an added benefit is this will then expose the tank to more natural light from above
