You may want to check out the wp jabeo pumps. They put out a lot of flow although their longevity is still being evaluated. I have a wp-25 and love it. they come with a wavemaker and various programs you can run. I have that and one koralia in my 65 tank and there's plenty of flow.

Really gonna depend on what you are doing with the tank.:-/
Are you going to run them on a wm??

I would steer clear of Jabao.:(

I have 2 koralia evolutions. 740 and a 1400. They are both on all the time and I have good flow in my tank.

Not quite sure what your setup is/planning to be but if your going in the direction of a reef tank you would want anywhere from 30-50x turnover at least. Some people go even higher than that though. So you want powerheads that can produce anywhere from 2250gph to 3750gph (that's just in reference to the 30-50x turnover rate). You could get two Koralia 8watt powerheads and you would be around 3300gph orrrrr you could get two 10 watt powerheads and be at 4400gph and would have more than enough turnover for a reef tank. If you wanted to go in the direction of Koralia evolutions you could get two of the 1500gph or maybe one of the 1500gph and one of the 1150gph. I had Koralia's on my older 90 FOWLR (before it was taken down and sold) and they did fantastic. No problems whatsoever and just regular maintenance and they will last you. I can't speak in the terms of Jabeo either but I can for Vortech powerheads. I just bought a MP10 recently for my 20 gallon nano and that little thing can create waves and move water over the edges if it needed too. Well worth the money if you are looking to spend that. Hopefully I didn't confuse you at all and if any of my info is wrong someone please correct me but all depends on what you plan on doing with your tank setup and what fits your budget :)

Not sure if I'm going to go in with a WM right away. I was thinking of getting the new Koralia with smart timer and 2 1500 possibly. As far as reef goes I would only be adding softies and some zoas. I'm not too new at this hobby as I've had this tank set up twice before. But the 3rd time is a charm :) I'm going through a cleaning all my existing equipment right now. I have my old dead live rock cycling and seeding in a tub with new live rock right now. I'm taking this slow. If I don't add fish until the summer so be it. Don't really have the time right now to go full steam crazy buying and adding right now.

For softies and zoas you could get away with two koralia 750's. Plenty of flow for those critters. Once you get corals that require more flow then you could upgrade to nicer (more expensive) stuff like a votec.

Edit: If you keep the koralias clean they will last a lifetime.

i have 2 koralia 750's on my 75g mixed reef, but I also have a mag drive 9.5 return pump for extra flow. I feel like I have moderate flow in my tank. If I had more sps then I would probably want a bit more flow

Ironically enough the 9.5 is what I am using also. I have it restricted as my overflow couldn't handle it last time. I am going to tinker with it during this build and may even consider upgrading the overflow since they seem to be one of the most least expensive pieces.

Funny, IME, I was going to say- steer clear of the Koralias!

I went thru 3 of the Evo's, no wavemaker, cleaned them, they still crap out.
    POS IMHO

On the other hand, all my Jabeo's, both power heads and my DC12000 working fine.
Time will tell- good thing they are inexspensive, and work awesome.
