How many battery air pumps should i buy

    If you haven't ordered them yet go to the sporting goods section of walmart and see if they have the battery operated air pumps for keeping bait alive. They are only about 5 bucks apiece and are the same exact thing.

    The ones that fit in wrist watches are called "button" batteries. ;D

    Energizer or Duracell would be fine brands. I would avoid the cheap batteries as they tend to have a shorter shelf life and don't last as long. Make sure you check the expiration date on the batteries also.

    lol thats the name! lol didnt know they were called button batteries, just knew what they looked like :D

    yea ill get Energizer, thats the most available brand anyways ill hope they'll last the 6 hours while im at work next week, im sure ill probably have to change them out when i get home

    ok sorry to sound like a know-it-all, but i know my batteries. brand doesnt really matter much, the cell itself does. regular alkaline normally have about x minutes of straight use while NiCad, NiMH, and Lithium-Ion batteries can last for up to about 12x longer hours of straight use. Energizer makes a Lithium battery line that does fantastic.

    ive kept 5 gallon bucket of shrimp alive all night on a set. of course the number of shrimp in the bucket declined as the night went on.

    thaks for the tip! ill see if i can find any at the store

    and that's what im afraid of, this is a long power outage, they've lasted a couple hours before but with a 9 hour, i hope they'll make it!
