    A guy at my LFS told me that I should have about 50 blue leged hermits in my 90Gal. This was after I told him it was FOWLR and I want corals in the future. Like a sucker, I believed him, and bought 25. I read in that little white book that has ~500 species of inverts in it (sorry i cant remember the title/author atm) and it clearly says there not a good idea for reefs. :cry: So its LFS worker vs an author with a PHD. Do I start moving hermits into my 72gal now or 'try it and see' :)

    PS: Having an itch for crabs, LOL !!!

    I've always had Blue leg hermits in my reef. Not in those number but I have. I would say ,by experience only, that they are reef safe. They do not touch coral.

    My experiences with blue legs are the same as Jason's. They may take down a snail or two but I've never seen them bother corals.

    My blue legs just barge about and upset everything. They don't mean any harm, I presume, just don't care what they do.
