I think both are equally as aggressive.

LOL, "Allowed" didn't know that there was rules about what we can have in our tanks, who polices this, the "Tang Police" LOL

I am sorry I just couldn't resist, I understand what you meant but to put it that way... well it just struck me as funny.

The only problem your going to have with putting another clown in there is how aggressive your existing pair are going to be, I mean they are king and queen of the castle now and you going to toss another pair in the Mix.

If you can change things around just a little, like if they have a place where they stay in the tank like a favorite rock or something move it, or put another over it. This sometimes throws them off enough where they might ignore the new ones.

I disagree with the statement that the Maroon clown it the most aggressive clown. The tomato clown by far is the King of the ring. And Skunk clowns run a close second, they may be less aggressive when small but look out when they get older! By all means the Maroons aren't Angels but they are not that bad especially if kept in pairs, singley the can be Bastards, but this is true with almost all clowns. And in my opinion the statement that the perc's an Ocellaris are the least aggressive of the clowns is correct.

I had two pairs of clowns in my 75 reef, a pair of GS Maroon and a pair of Ocellaris Clownfish and had no problems for almost 1.5 years. I just lost the GSM Female to a really nasty Hipo tang, the tang just decided that it didn't like the clown and harassed it to death.

No, this would be under the Clown Police Department's jurisdiction.

yeah i was thinking on that before adding it.. thats why i decided to ask. i can probably move some stuff around a little bit. although my clowns arent exactly paired yet since they are juvis. the are the black and white saddle back clowns. what i will add though will probably be an established pair or two adult clowns one big one small. ( kinda like what i did to pair my clowns at my 29g)

No, he meant nice looking, but mean as the other maroon clown.

And I still contend that the skunk clowns are the least aggro of the clowns (even when full grown), less so than percs or ocellaris IME.
