zebra dwarf- attacked by something and never healed.
fuzzy dwarf- lack of nutrition, wouldnt eat no matter what i tried
sargassum frogfish- tried to feed off pronged stick and stabbed himself when he attacked, this was the worst one ever. i felt so bad.

    1 diamond goby - jumped
    1 longnose hawkfish - jumped
    3 flame angels - parasites/ich

The flame angel losses were the worst, and I was determined to be able to keep one. I think the problem was that none of them were eating at the fish store, and were un-healthy to begin. I now have a flame that is healthy and doing great - the key was that he ate at the store.

2 * Coral Banded Shrimp - Ate pellets for about a week then never seen again
Long nosed Hawkfish - amazing acrobat, found him about 2 weeks later :S

I lost a Flame a bi color and a coral beauty. I also lost a goby and a clown.

I lost the goby bi color and clown due to a new sump with the wrong silicone :furious: .... Funny part is the bangii cardinal I had survived this

    The flame got swim bladder

And the coral beauty was killed by a niger trigger.

I also lost a hippo tang

My most recent loss was my prized piccaso clown that jumped when i got my new light before I got eggcrate, now I only have one and he seems lonely.

It sucks because most were from stupid mistakes but you live and you learn I guess.

    1 b&w clown - killed by my o&w clown
1 dragon goby - wasn't an aggresive eater and slowly starved
1 tiger wardi goby - don't think the dragon goby wanted to share the tank
1 purple firefish - very timid and barely got any food, slowly starved
~3-4 blue/green chromis - don't think I was feeding the tank enough and they were getting killed by tankmates, one jumped into my overflow

Now I feel bad. But I'm still learning...and haven't lost anything for a while:)

I have lost so many fishes in my first 120 gls tank that I lost count. All of them died due to my total ignorance in SW.
Since I re-started my setup completely two months ago, I have lost clown fish, tangs, blenny, all of them due to ich. Now I am going fishless for 2 months..

too many to count.. I recently lost my favorite African Cichlid from old age I guess. I had him for a few years. I was pretty sad about it. I also lost two red belly pacu that I had for about 3 years.. they grew from about 2 inches to the size of a dinner plate (8" +). They got ich..

as for saltwater.. I have lost so many damn fish in the beginning from not doing my reading. I almost gave up, but then again I really am not a quitter..
