I have lost every single anthias I have tried (probably 5 now) - so, no more anthias for me!

I have been in this hobby so long that I have lost track. Even if I did keep track, it might be depressing.

I prefer to look at how happy the fish I have are.

No... It wouldn't eat. It would peck at the rocks but I never saw it eat. I got it through the mail and it was only 1.5 ".
Seemed healthy when I got it.
My tank was maybe 2-3 months old. Funny thing is with all my fish deaths. I still have my original fish crew that I put in all at once.
My Yellow tang, hippo, 5 chromis (1 died), 2 True Perculas.. I put these fish in all at once shortly after cycle and they're all still with me including my YT damsel I cycled with.

I didn't notice the flame being harassed by any fish but the copperband was for about 3 days. I think that is a huge factor even when you don't see a fish being harassed.

Shortly after I got him he lost some legs - which sometimes can mean stress/illness. And then about a month later he passed on. He was a fighter!

They need to eat almost constantly. Certain species like purple queen anthias are especially tricky and die regardless, and pretty quickly in captivity.

I've lost 4 clowns, put them too fast after cycling and not enough water changes, lost a goby watchman, starvation i think, he never seem to eat to his fill and not enough in the sand to sustain him, lost a couple of shrimp, lost a wrasse not sure why she hid herself never saw her again .
