I have mostly mushrooms and a green start polyp. I have two reef breeders 120 watt LEDs turned down to about a quarter power and there on for 14 hours which I'm sure is far too much so can someone tell me how's my hours. It's a 90 gallon tank 48 inches long, 24 inches high and the with width is 18 inches.

If it were my tank, I would probably reduce photo period to somewhere between 10 and 12 hours

excess light could cause issues for corals, and in addition could also result in algae issues, if nutrients become and issue along with algae spores down the road

I do 10 hours with both daylights and actinics, 2 additional hours (1 hour before and 1 after daylights) with just actinics. Seems to be working just fine. I think a good amount of people do 10 hours total and would recommend that as well. I would say cut it down by an hour for a week, then by another hour the next and see how it does.
