I am getting a coralife aqualight today.
the ones with 2x65 actinic 2x65 10000k and 4 moonlight leds built in.
My question is how long to run each set of light
    6700k hours?
    actinic hours?
    led hours     ?

BTW just to let yah know.I have pom pom xenias and are growing very well under 80watts of light and are about 14" under the surface.

I am not to sure about the amount of light the experts say is required by corals anymore.
    But i am upgrading anyway.

I am sure everybody is slightly different. My compact fluorescents are : blues on 12 hours, daylights on 8-9 hours and leds on at night sometimes, but only if someone remembers to turn them on. The moon doesn't always shine on the water :D

This is my timing schedule.Seems to be working ok.

    Moonlight:5am-1am [4-3/4 watt Lunar LEDS]
    Actinic:7am-9pm [2x65watt]
    10k:9am-7pm [2x65watt]
    Perfecto fixture:11am-5pm [1-40w actinic 1-40watt 6000k]

The perfecto fixture adds the effect of bright afternoon sun.
at first i removed the fixture after i got the coral life, but the 6000k bulb looks good so i put it back on.

    total watts:343
