    Get your minds out of the gutter now !! I am setting up a 40b that is 36 inches in length. I have one Evergrow D120 LED fixture. I know I may have a little shade on the sides but how high above the water should I hang it.

    For a 40B, you should be able to hang it high enough to get full coverage. Your optics will determine exactly how high that will be.
