how many ml of biopellets to start with

    hey so everything is in...i have 175 gallon total water volume with 9 med. sized fish...

    super reef octopus xs350 skimmer..

    with what ive read with biopellets, the people having the most success are the ones that based their ml of biopellets depending on their livestock, they didnt use the gallon recommendations..

    so how many ml should i start with so my water wont get cloudy, should i start with 1/4 the recommended dose and each week add another 1/4 of a dose till i get to 750ml which is what is recommened...

    i know i need the ouput of the pellets to be as close as possible to my skimmer pump intake...

    im starting with 250 ml..and each week will add 250ml until reaching 750ml

    Sweet! Thanks for the info, I'm about to start running bio pellets on my 180 and had no clue where to start lol

    i started with half of the recommended dose and added the rest a week later. i think it depends on the setup. good luck!
