2 years and you dont see any pods? You might want to look just a bit harder im sure there are some in there. This is a tank that is 7-8 months old I did not stock this tank with trigger pods or anything they have hichhiked in on stuff randomly that I have bought

    Do you have a refugium?
If yes turn your pumps off turn the light off wait 10 minutes then turn the lights on and you should see then this attached vid will show you how it works

alot of times you can see them on top of the water as well if the lights are off and you put a flashlight on the top of the water.

Very hard to see if you go to youtube you can make it bigger and see them better. but there they are and I did not put them there

Why do you need to buy pods?
I have a mandarin in my 150G without a refugium and I added the mandarin 6 months in and he is as fat and happy as can be a year and a half later. I believe you Should be just fine without having to add pods in the system.. I'm sure you have plenty, if you have a goof amount of rock.

I've seen some from the ocean pods for 100 ship free. It comes w 4 bottles. I used quite a few times and they are great. However, on the other note, 240 is a large tank. If you don't have any small fish, it should plenty of pods to subtain one mandrain.

no fuge here, just a sump, I see what appear to be "little shrimp" on the rocks, but not sure what they are? Little things like those guys would be REALLY hard to spot in my tank. There is a good amount of live rock in the tank, I forget exactly how much I put in there, but its 200+lbs of rock, and probably 50 more lbs in the sump.

what I did is crushed that rock up to rubble and they breed like mad in there. Even in a sump with some rock rubble there should be some if not seed it but more than likely there being over looked. trust me I for a long time could never find the little ****s and bam one day was looking at my glass on my time like wth is that. lol

Find out what your current population is.

Turn off the lights at night (including moonlights). Turn off all of the other lights in the room (including TV, if applicable). Wait 45 minutes and put a small flashlight on one side of the tank. Leave for 15 minutes. When you come back, you will probably have thousands walking on the glass where you had the flashlight.

I hear there the pods you need are the ones that breed in like 3 days or something like that to populate the tank fast. I dont think trigger pods do this so keep that in mind when you buy them. Not 100% on that but pretty sure
