    Algae tabs ... maybe the same thing as algae wafers that I buy. My fish(green eaters) and inverts love them.

    I personally would never use tabs (to kill algae), or any chemicals in my reef tank.

    I remember using algae tab food when I has fresh water tanks.

    No no no!! The tabs are food, consisting of algae and whatnot. They aren't used to get rid of it..

    and on the remark about chemicals, true...but I would only use them if it was my last defense.
