I mixed my WC water too strong. I can't find a calculator for this.

I have a 5 gallon bucket. It is full. So I can't add FW to bring the SG down.

I need to exchange SW with FW. Want to move it from 1.028 -> 1.026.

    Help would be appreciated.

If you have another 5 gallon bucket split the difference and add the FW. Then take a reading.

Use the formula (saltadd x wateradd) + (saltbucket x waterbucket) = (salttotal x watertotal), where salt = salt concentration and water = volume of water.

    Mathmatically

you need to remove 1/2 gallon of 1.028 and replace with Rodi

    its 10%

so what you would have is 9 parts of 1.028 and 1 part 1.00 = 10.25

    divide by 10 = 1.0252

    Thanks all. Duh right!

I think I might need to slow down and take a break.
