Hello. Not new to the hobby or the site but have been away from both for a few years. However im a newbie to sumps as i have only ever.used h.o.b. filtration. The otherday i went to garage sale and picked up a 150watt metal halide oddessea. )Which i know is a cheaper brand) And a sump. For $30. I have included pictures of all i was given. Could you tell me what you think of the design of the sump? Not sure why return and inline or on same side. Isnt that bad? I will sell the halide.. how much should i ask for? It has 2 cp and 2 leds. With extra bulbs. However im thinking anout using the sump on my 46 gallon bow when i put it back up. Can you tell me what other parts ill need to complete tjis setup? What are the parts i have including the long tube. Not sure if that is a phosphate reactor? The sump looks to be 20 gallons. Actually. ..is this a sump or wet/dry filter? It came with the black bio balls if that helps.
    Thanks in advance.

The tube looks like a skimmer without the air pump.

It's a Seaclone skimmer. They're about $100. You will need to buy a maxijet 1200 to run it.

The light was probably $200 or so new.

Sumps like that run about $100+.

    Overflow boxes run about $50.

    Great score, imo.

Sump looks solid. I would put skimmer in the first compartment (in front of pipes), chaeto/rock/sand in middle and return in far compartment.

I am not sure but, I believe those are 2 intake pipes at the front. Not enough room to put a return pump in the first compartment.
