i just got a penguin 550 powerhead that puts out some major flow. its about 2 inches from my blue tork acro, and 4 inches from the hydnophora. is this too much flow? should i switch them around os the hydno gets more flow, its flittering in the movement, the acro hasnt opened yet...

That is probably too much direct flow. Try aiming it just an inch to the side and see how it reacts.

Too much direct flow will peel the skin off an acro.

you are going to want turbulent flow, not laminar flow... Just dont direct it right at them because direct laminar flow will quickly rip off the polyps and kill one half of the coral

x2 bounce the flow off the walls of the tank and aim 1 at the waterline.
