yea Advanced. Actually might be a different one. He just recently pulled it outta his customers tank.

I have two maximas. I paid $70 for a 3 inch blue maxima and $30 for a 2 inch gold maxima. Both have grown abouth a half inch larger since I got em earlier this summer.

Also depends where you live. Clams are not the most common thing to come across. they arent rare or anything like that. But are definitely out there.

likewise.. when and if you do decide to get a clam, be sure to pick up locally and not online(ive heard bad things) and make sure it has a nice intact foot and reacts to changes in light.. changes in light is as simple as creating a shade spot over it with your hand..
    good luck

I get 4-5" squamosas and deresas at $60 for one and $110 for two. I see you are located in PA. If you are close to pittsburgh checkout Aqua World Pet Super Center. Thats where I buy mine. Their small animals and reptiles suck but the aquarium section is amazing.

I got a nice 3" derasa for 40 dollars locally recently, you should be able to find one for that much with no problems. My 4" crocea I got online for 30 dolalrs, but they go for much more now.

Online or locally is fine for clams.
