I have a florescent light, made for plant growth, on my 30 gallon fresh water aquarium. I leave it on for 14 hours a day. I use to use a co2 cannister. Now I have switched to the flourish system. I am having a bit of an algae problem. Am I leaving leaving the light on too long. What would you recommend ?

You need to get an aquarium light. The spectrum for grow lights is for plants ... that's why the algae is loving it. Corals like a bluer spectrum. If it's fish only you still need an aquarium light with a bluer spectrum to cut down the algae growth.

my guess is that buy switching over to flourish your nutrient ratio is out of balance. your plants can't grow fast enough to use the nutrients up now that there is now more co2 injection.

well you wattage is pretty low you have less then 1wpg. i would stop using the flourish or atleast cut back you plants cant use the fertilizer faster then the algae
