    I have only ever bought 1 fish. lol...$32 for a coral beauty angel.

    I spend $60 on rock last time I went to my LFS. I am setting up a new tank and spent $500 in one shot...sand, tank, skimmer.

    6 months in and too much spent. Biggest since intial setup would be $565 GAC/GFO reactors, media, Brightwells Kalk +2, 2 LPS, 2 SPS.;);D

    try walking into your lfs and staring them in the face, give em a chuckle, and say.....i need 150 lbs of coralline coated live rock--90 lbs of live sand--2 nice sized wave makers--4 cheap fish--about 20 turbo snails--and 45 mexican crabs--oh, also id like to buy everything out of 1 of your little refugiums..............they will either laugh in your face or pile everything up in boxes/bags and slap a bill of about $2300......yay :-/

    WOW. That's a lot of money to be spent at one time. :p I think my tank will be about $1,00 in addition to the $500 so far.

    I personally run on fumes. 6 months after the initial setup I had accumulated receipts for about $1800. After that I got mad and
    stopped keeping them, unless it's equipment that has a warranty. Last weekend I spent $177 at reefpets auctions to celebrate that now I have a job again :)
