    hi all

    i have 2 kor 3, and one kor 4. would a 6 or 7 (2200-2700) be too much flow for a 90G (48") tank?

can too much flow hurt the tank, I think I heard once that it changes the water pressure?

    just axin~!

    I too have 2 Koralia 3's and a Koralia 4. I also have a Vortech MP40W.

You ask if an additional Koralia 6 or 7 would be too much. I don't know how it would compare to my setup, as the Vortech is programmable, and works as if it's on a wave controller. I'd guess that adding a device providing 2200 or GPH flow additional would be OK, but you'd have to position all devices strategically. No sandstorms, and no laminar flow on any one concentrated area.

If you are able to swing this, I'd say sure. Go for it. A lot depends upon your coral choice too. If your tank is SPS dominated, your corals will love you for it. If you have mostly softies--that's a different scenario--they don't fare as well in a reef blender. :)
