How Much Rock Weight Can 45 Gallon Hold excluding sand & water

    Holy cow you have 125 lbs of rock in a 45 already and your adding more?

    Well looking now that number may be a bit high, but it's not far off. I'm not leaving the total amount in there old + new. Some of the new rock is great and I don't want to lose it from the tank I took down so I moved it into the 45 until I can rearrange and eliminate some of the older rock that was already in the tank. I don't plan on leaving all the rock in there but I want to know if it's going to hold up until I get the rockscape complete. Also don't want to take out too much too fast to cause problem with biological filtration.

    Yes, it's in and doing just fine. Other than giving my damsel another area to want to be protective over.
