How much Rowaphos

Ok, i have a 150 little fishes reactor, today i bought 250ml tub of Rowaphos, instructions are not to clear and are based on us litres/gallons, im in the UK, so as with pellets am i better to add small amounts first or can i add half the tub, i have worked it out in my 50 gallon minus sand and rocks i need around 50grams, this is a very small amount in the reactor, around 1",

Can someone thats used rowaphos successfully please help, i'm frustrated

 

Or should i just place it in the filter bag supplied, and if so would inbetween the baffles be a good place to position it

Not even sure if i need any, phosphates read 0.05/0.1

Glass takes over 5 days before it needs cleaning, no green algae anywhere, i fear snails will start dieing soon, only reason im concerned is im getting cyano creeping in both sides of the tank and its doing my head in watching it take over

 

Put it in the tlf reactor with sponge beneath it and adjust flow down so its like a simmer on top of the rowaphos pellets. Works great I just found it pretty pricey.

 

I use it. The key with any GFO is to start low and work your way up. I used 2 table spoons in my 30 gallon volume of water and added more in subsequent weeks.

0.05-0.1 I believe to be high. I've read that ideally it will be less than .03. Mine is .003 (yes, an .003) and dropping.
