    how much salt will i need for a 55 gallon Fowlr Tank

    Depend on the salt type - usually around 1/2 cup per gallon. You will need a hydrometer or refractometer to check salinity. For FOWLR tank, keep salinity around 1.023-1.025.

    buy a 50g box and a 25g box.. so you have enough to do 55g and some leftover down the road for a couple water changes..

    it will say on the box how much it will make, usally that about around 1.021-1.023 salinity.. you want it a little higher need alittle more salt.
