how much sand for a 55 gal?

    ok im jsut gonna get regular sand. can i get 40lbs and be ok? will that much be fine? do i need more or is this good?

    For 55, a good estimate is 20lb per inch. 40lbs will give you 2 inches give or take.

    1-2 inches. so i guess ill be good.

    40lbs should be good. is it 55 long or tall?

    its 4ft by 14inch by 15 or 18 tall. cant remimber.

    AGA 55 gallon is 48x12x21. There is no tall or wide for 55 unless it is custom made.

    i guess that is what it is. seems big to me.
