After reading through all the threads about the downside to overfeeding, it has naturally got me asking myself, "Am I overfeeding?". I am feeding once per day (1/2 cube of formula1 and 1/2 to 1 cube of brine shrimp).

    I have the current setup:

    Fish / Inverts

    • 1-yellow tang (medium size)
    • 2-clowns
    • 1-yellow tail damsel
    • 1-hippo tang (small)
    • 1-blood shrimp
    • 3-peppermint shrimp
    Coral

    • 1-branching frogspawn
    • 1-ricordea
    • 1 colony of zoos
    • 1 colony of green striped mushroom
    • green star polyp
    • kenya trees (spreading like crazy)
    • 1-red flower pot
    Equipment
    90-gallon tank
    approx 75-lbs live rock
    skimmer (vertex in100)
    15 gallon sump
    uv sterilizer
    6-bulb T5HO light fixture

Any suggestions / input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

No your not over feeding at all..Since you have a skimmer, it will allow you to feed a LIL more..But still keep it to one day anyway IMO.

You can feed your coral(only frogspawn and ricordea) if you would like once or twice a week, or once a month, or twice a month..Depends on what you like.

I feed about the same bioload 1.5 cubes a day of brine/mysis/vitamin blend. I cut it down from 2 full cubes a day for $$$ savings.

    My feelings are

providing your fish are not obviously over weight (as thats no good for their health)
and your water parameters are under control (Nitrates and Phosphates)

then over feeding is not an issue IMO
