Lol, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's stepped on a glass top! When my 125 was freshwater, I took the glass tops off, leaned them against the wall while I was doing maintenance, then stepped backwards a little bit later an broke it right in half. Still not sure how I managed not to cut my foot up tho lol

My 185g/30g sump loses about 2g daily monitored by ATO. I have a lot of surface agitation on my tanks, so I probably lose more than average.

Was around a gallon per day until I put in an algae scrubber. Now I'd say an easy 2 gallons. Sucks too as I have to cart in all water for my tank. /sigh I hate well water...

I've also been curious how much evaporation an algae scrubber would add cuz I'm looking into adding one. Thank you much for the post!

    I have a 125c mixed Reeg, with a 50g sump

Before ia hooked up my auto top off, I was adding about 2g a day, then I figured out my sump was leaking a small amount.

So, I plumged to my basement, and have a ATO hooked right to my sump via a float valve3, hooked up to my RO/DI. Now my SG doesn't move much at all.
