    Hey Everyone,

I'm considering selling my reef tank unfortunately and wanted to know what might be a fair asking price, just leave me your thoughts/opinions on what price you might actually sell it for. Thanks

Included is all of the corals: Wall Hammer Coral, Various SPS corals, Green Star Polyps, Mohawk/Arctic Ice/Magician/Fire & Ice/Whamming Watermelon/Ring of Fire/Fluroescent Pinks/Blue Tubbs/Eagle Eye/Jokers Zoas and Palys, Leather Tree Coral, Harvest Chalice, Candy Canes, Blue Anthelia. Also includes over 20 pounds of established live rock, various nassarius snails/hermit crabs, 1 yellow watchman goby with a pistol shrimp, 1 tomato clownfish, and 1 other bicolor fish (pink/yellow). Finally, it also includes a metal halide fixture with a 3 month old Ushio 20k light bulb (150watts) along with a clip on moonlight. I will include all of the siphon tubes, reef supplements, and everything you'll need along with (2) 5 gallon jugs for water changes.

because of the time you hve put into it you may not get whaout of it but I would pice it out to get your money back out of the tank. as a whole 350.00 would be what I would assume you would get for it IMO.

Your setup seems to be worth quite a bit of money. I think that you will have a hard time getting what it is worth as a whole though. I would piece it out like rc_mcwaters suggested. I think that I would agree with the $350 being what you can get for it, but I would ask I would start out by asking at least $600 so that you can barter.

I really suggest to piece it out and try and get most of your money back out it.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
In Arizona I tried to sell my 28 gallon JBJ with chiller, HQI metal halide, coral and some fish for 300.00. The tank was 2 1/2 years old at that time. Everyone wanted to piece it out big time. I did end up selling all corals, clams and most fish but the not the tank. People wanted everything for nothing.

Not trying to be discouraging, hope you try to the make most of the money off the corals and fish.

I ended up keeping the tank because I was not willing to drop my price, one of the better decisions I have ever made.

Good luck to you and I hope you get a decent price for it.

I would say between $350-500. Nice tank by the way, hate to see you let it go
