How often? Cleaning return pump

    Wondering how often everyone cleans their return pumps (for those of u with sumps). I have a mag 7 in my sump as a return on my 90. The tank has been up for around 4 months....just curious on how often others feel the need to clean em.

    Also - How do you clean it. Just soak it in Vinegar?

    once a month, cleans in fresh water with bottle/tube brush and scrubbie sponge.
