I clean my glass almost every day. Sand and rocks are cleaned by the inhabitants!

I clean my glass daily and my sand never. I have a cleaner crew to deal with my sand.

    no sand (BB)
glass is cleaned every ~5 days, just a light dusting.

fwiw, how often you clean your glass is a good indication of nutrient levels.
