Seems like I need to clean my front glass at least every 1 or 2 days to remove a brownish algae haze. Does everybody's tank develop this haze as fast as mine does?

So how often do you need to clean your glass?

Sorry. Can't spell worth a darn on this laptop. Can't correct the title.

I would say about once a week, maybe a little more, so I went with the every 5-6 days one. Then about twice a month I gotta get the blade out and do the coraline

Every two days I start to notice a film. After 4 days it really needs it.
After I started my algae scrubber there is far less on the back glass.

as mine is a relatively new tank (tank swapped) Im probably over fastidious with my glass cleaning and do it every 3 days - its not bad by that time, I just like to keep the front glass spotless . I do the side glass once a week only

Coralline - despite the new tank only being set up a couple of months or so, the back glass is already covered with those circular patterns in purple

front and side glass mysteriously free thus far, Im wondering if the black background on the rear glass has helped create a better enviroment for coralline in that area - otherwise its just plain strange

I get a film that I need to mag float every 2-3 days. If i let it go a week or 3 like I did until tonight, I need to get the razor out and razor off the pink and green coralline .

Mag Float on front and sides every 3-5 days and scrape back once a week. I don't like the look of the coralline on the glass at all.

I pretty much mag float the front and sides, and let the back go for the snails and other critters.

Mine too, once every 3 days front and sides and I never touch the back. By day four I have to otherwise all the snails cleaning the glass block my view of the fish.
