I've had mine for a week now and it has pooped every single day. I haven't fed it yet either.

    Is that normal?

Not normal IME. It could be expelling zooxanthellae.

Any other concerns, like it moving a lot, color loss or change, gaping oral opening?

How long have you had it?

I've had it for a week and it hasn't moved since it moved around on the first day.

I haven't noticed a change of color. I notice it's color is more profound the less it is inflated. And it only has a gaping mouth before and after it expelled waste, and of course during.

Ok, one week, then probably fine.

    I hope so : /

If it indeed is bleaching and expelling zooxanthellae, would it attempt to move to more light on it's own?

It is just below the "equator" in my tank and is slightly under an overhang.

Anemones in need of more intense lighting will often look to be reaching for the light or move up the sides of the tank to get closer to the lighting.

I would not be too concerned.

That's what I figured. I will keep an eye on him as he acclimates to my tank some more.

    Thank you so much.
