I have been feeding my reefs every other day. But i just lost two dwarf angels in two separate tanks within two days:(. Ive been trying to figure it out but the only thing i can come up with is maybe they were under fed. The other fish in the tanks are doing fine. Kinda of a bad day on the reef at my place.

Sorry on the losses, I would say they should be fed at least daily, they are fairly active in my book.

thanks for the post. I usually feed a decent amout every other day, but i guess its hard to judge how much is too much or even enough? Any tips on feeding? I just hate losing livestock, especially these fish. They were some of the most beautiful fish I've ever owned.

Just feed as much as they will eat in 2 or 3 minutes. Maybe do this every couple of hours while you are home when you first get the fish. Then cut back to maybe twice when you are at home or maybe even just daily.

I feel ya lossing fish sux..I just lost my tang (had him almost 2yrs)a month ago and then my coral beauty the other day(she was with me for just over 5 yrs)..I would do as 2in10 sugested, they are active, and you should vary the diet as much as you can.soaking the food in selcone will help the fish also..

i feed a mixture of cyclopeze, spirilina, mysis, mini mysis, spectrum thera +A by New Life and New Life Spectrum Marine fish Formula. also Hikari Spirulina Brine shrimp. All soaked in Garlic Power from Brightwell aquatics. I rotate these feeding a few types for a week, and than switching up.
