How often is it necessary to water my mangrove trees.. I have been doing it daily, because I think its fun.. Just more of a curiosity than anything..

Oh, I water with RO, not RODI. Something with intuition tells me watering plants with RODI is bad..

Aren't they in your refugium? If they're in there, why would they need watering (other than a slight misting of the leaves)?

Couple times a week when they have leaves. They have glands that excrete salt from their leaves and need the salt deposits and any debris removed from them. In nature the rain removes this naturally. They need some help from us in captivity :)

Just give them a hand once in a while and you'll be fine.
